Coverage and project constraints
The existing DAS supported older bands and did not provide the performance needed for modern mobile use. Coverage had to support doctors, senior managers, staff, patients, families, and visitors across a demanding hospital environment.
TELNET project approach
TELNET worked with Verizon Wireless using a phased approach: refreshing the existing DAS, re-cabling portions of the system, installing new equipment where needed, and designing expanded DAS infrastructure with BDAs, antennas, hubs, connectors, and more than 20,000 feet of cable.

The phased work was designed to move the medical center toward broad cellular coverage across the hospital environment, supporting mobile access for clinical teams, operations, visitors, and patients.
